After making more than $65,000 in profits in a single day, 17-year-old entrepreneur Destiny Snow shows her colleagues that anything is possible.
Destiny Snow is the CEO of SnowGlam Group, a beauty company that helps women feel good. Her inspiration to become an entrepreneur came from her mother. As a child, Snow grew up watching her mother own and run several businesses successfully, and it was a huge inspiration for her to become an entrepreneur.
In May of 2019, Snow finally decided to take action and create her own company. She spent months researching and planning the perfect niche and product she was passionate about. After many frustrating and exciting months, Snow launched her company in November. She built her website, found sellers, and even created marketing posts. The budget was only $600, but she managed to spend it on inventory, product labels, and packaging.

On November 27, 2019, Snow’s website was launched. She launched her online store and to her surprise, business was very slow. She expected her friends and family to rush to buy what she was selling, but that wasn’t the case. Their lack of support discouraged her, but as Snow grew as an entrepreneur, she realized they were not her target audience. After two months of making 10-20 sales per month, she decided to take a break from her job altogether. This break will allow her to analyze her day-to-day operations and come up with better solutions to run her business more efficiently.
She used up her days with the non-standard things you would see other 17-year-olds do. I watched countless marketing videos, reviewed success stories, read business articles and ordered piles of business books. Over time, she was able to see where her marketing strategy was going wrong. She realized that she needed to be able to define her target audience. Snow’s audience is built only from people you know, friends and family. I’ve learned that to truly scale a company, you have to win the hearts and minds of complete strangers.

Snow has been able to take everything she has learned and put it to good use. After rebranding her entire website in September 2020, she decided to take a risk and invest in marketing her business. I started with a promotion on Instagram with The ShadeRoom. This life-changing move brought in a total of $30,000 from this promotion within 90 days. As her mother is a successful entrepreneur, these early gains allowed her to believe she could follow in her footsteps and perhaps even surpass them.
That gave Snow the confidence she needed to keep going. After a few more months of consistent sales and returning customers, I decided it was time to invest in marketing again. In June of 2021, Snow pushed Ari Fletcher for a promotional Instagram Story, which included a video of her using SnowGlam Collection’s Luxury Diamond Flat Iron, SnowGlam Collection’s Instagram hashtag and a swipe link to the site.
With Fletcher in high demand for promotions, Snow made sure that her marketing strategy included promoting her luxury diamond flat iron collection. She even gave her hairstylist a flat iron and would be sending Tik Toks and videos of her using the product to different clients.
In August, Snow was at the grocery store and received a phone notification that Ari Fletcher had flagged her in a story post. At least a minute after this happened, her phone started exploding Shopify order notifications.
As the day ended, Snow had made a total of over $65,000 and her business page had gained over 3,000 new followers. The next day, she announced this information on her Instagram platform. After doing this, her sales doubled. Within three months of promoting Instagram with Ari Fletcher, the SnowGlam Collection managed to generate more than $350,000 in revenue.
SnowGlam is now worth over $670,000 – and all from social media marketing.
