Known for its 125 tables of antiques, collectibles, and unique finds, Montsweag wasn’t just a market—it was a tradition. After its closure in 2023, the market’s future seemed uncertain, but in 2025, The Jones Family stepped in to restore this iconic gathering place.
As owners of F.O. Bailey Company, the oldest running business in Maine, the Jones Family is deeply committed to preserving Maine’s legacy. Nancy Jones, a member of a renowned New England antiquarian family and owner of an antique store in Falmouth, brings her expertise to Montsweag. With a family home in Wiscasset, the Joneses are honored to revive Montsweag Flea Market and carry its history forward.
